I'm Jacob, and I'm a sophomore concentrating (for now) in English and Music. The summer before I came to Brown I read a book about the Oracle at Delphi and was so fascinated by it that I decided on a bit of a whim to take Chris Witmore's Archaeologies of the Greek Past my first semester. Even though I'm not a concentrator, I decided to take this course because I've always been interested in hands-on experience and I love the idea of getting it right here in Providence. I'm also looking forward to the possibility for doing some documentary archaeology in this course.
