Hi, I'm Peter, a sophomore and perhaps an Archaeology concentrator. I'm very interested in Archaeology I suppose, and last summer I spent six weeks at a field school in Winslow, AZ at a pit house village in Homol'ovi Ruins State Park. It was really cool (well... terribly hot) and I learned a lot. I would like to get more of a sense of what it is like to dig in an environment so different from Arizona, and to look at historic (vs. pre-european contact) remains. I think looking at how to compare these two approaches will be really useful and interesting, and a good chance to brush up on the skills I learned in field school.
