I'm Alex, and I'm a senior neuroscience concentrator taking Archaeology of College Hill in part to feel more connected to the history of Brown before I graduate. This is my first archaeology class, but I've always loved history and am excited to experience it first-hand. Plus I was a paleontologist for Halloween once, so I figured I better see what this stuff is actually all about. So far my impression is very favorable, my only wishes being that we find buried treasure and that there were some sort of recliner chair I could sit in while scooping dirt and cutting through roots. But it's been great to learn so much about the history of the John Brown House and of the Brown family!
