Our final class on April 30 will be devoted to Marion Feldman's new book Diplomacy by Design. Feldman is also a candidate for the JIAAW's position in Near Eastern archaeology, and will be visiting Brown after Spring Break. Her book has been on the reserve shelf throughout the semester, but you might care first to read her shorter 2002 article in The Art Bulletin, which anticipates some of the arguments developed in the book.
