Archaeologists have excavated over 80,000 artifacts at Greene Farm since 2004. Many of these artifacts are typical of those found on archaeological sites; broken, small, and not necessarily diagnostic. Fortunately, we have recovered many unique and diagnostic finds that provide valuable insight into the people, conditions, and relationships surrounding Greene Farm throughout its history.
Artifact analysis is in progress at a Brown University archaeology laboratory, and we will continue to update these images regularly as we work with the collection.
