This print, from the University Archives in the John Hay Library, was done in 1840 after the finalised design for the building, but before it was actually built. The artist has located the building in a place different from where it was actually built, placing it in the spot originally occupied by the Edward Dexter House that was moved to 70 Waterman St when the University purchased the land for RI Hall.
