About Me:
I am currently entering my second year as a graduate student in the Department of Egyptology and Ancient Western Asian Studies at Brown University.  In 2008, I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Johns Hopkins University in Near Eastern Studies.  During my studies, I have become interested in the funerary religion of ancient Egypt and hope to use my time at Brown further investigating the special interaction between texts and material culture in the tomb environment.
