Below are options for accommodations close to the Brown campus. When you call for a reservation, request the Brown rate. But also note that for certain hotels, especially the Providence Biltmore, it may be possible to secure a better rate through online travel booking such as Expedia or Travelocity.

You can also call 1-800-294-7709 to make your reservation, just make sure to reference Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World at Brown University to receive the group rate. The cut off date for reservations into the room block is April 14, 2010, after which reservations will be accepted on space and rate availability basis.

Radisson Hotel Providence Harbor

Enter the dates of your stay and click “More Options.” There will be a spot to enter the promotional code - type BROWN and this will bring you right to your conference rate. You can also call 1-800-333-3333 to make your reservation, just make sure to reference the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World to get the room rate. The cut off date for reservations into the room block is April 15, 2010, after which reservations will be accepted on space and rate availability basis.
Rate: $89.00 per night (single or double occupancy rooms) plus state sales and occupancy taxes.
