The next and final field season will be during the month of July of 2007. It will be for about one month during June and July of 2007. Participation is limited to Brown students. The selection depends on the need of the excavation and the suitability of the student for this kind of work. Interviews and recommendation are part of the selection process, especially for those whom Prof. Winkes does not know at all or does not know well. Four students are also selected to be part of an
UTRA fellowship proposal, otherwise participation means self-pay.The excavation budget and the cost of student participation are independant from one another. Most of the arrangments such as travel and food are done by the participants themselves. The estimate for total cost (including travel and food) is ca $ US 3000.
